Laura Alagna

Laura Alagna is the Digital Preservation Librarian at Northwestern University Libraries. She has developed and implemented policies and workflows for managing born-digital content at Northwestern, and currently works on integrating digital preservation into Northwestern’s “next generation” repositories. Laura has an undergraduate degree in history from Amherst College, and a graduate degree in social sciences from the University of Chicago. She is an active member of the Chicago Area Archivists and is an appointed member of the Illinois State Historical Records Advisory Board.
