The BCC Membership Committee is pleased to announce that University of Pennsylvania has joined the BCC!

Welcome to:

• Rachel Appel, Digital Preservation Librarian (UPenn voting representative)
• Allison Olsen, Digital Archivist
• Sarah Oswald, Archivist
• Sam Sfirri, Processing Archivist

Our newest members are practitioners from across the University, including the University Libraries, the Law Library, the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts, and the Architectural Archives in the School of Design. These folks have been collaborating to create governance and management of born-digital collections. They have recently developed and began testing their acquisition and preservation workflows and are looking forward to incorporating BitCurator as part of these workflows. They are eager to tap into the BCC community to learn more and help grow their own program at the University.
