This elected group provides top-level leadership on critical decisions, formalizes documentation, and ensures ongoing programmatic success.

The inaugural Executive Council was elected in June 2015 and took office in July 2015. During the 2015-2016 charter year, only Charter Members were eligible to run for Executive Council; thereafter, all members (charter and general) are eligible to run for Executive Council.

This elected group is the governing body of the BitCurator Consortium and directs its activities. The Executive Council provides top-level leadership on critical decisions, formalizes documentation, and ensures ongoing programmatic success.
